Helaina

Helaina is a young little mare who is being broken in. She is going so well at the moment.
yesterday i rode her and she was a complete angel.
She went in front and she was good and she went behind and she was awsum.

Indiana

Sunday the 16th november 2008. i got to the stables to ride lola but someone named ruth asked me to ride indiana. i rode her about 7 months ago and she was to much for me. But now my riding had improoved so i decided to guve her a go. she was amasing and fast. she did pull but im used to that. as soon as we started trotting i could feel all her energy beneath me. She was no horse she was a turbo engine. The first time i asked her to canter, she was too far on the forehand. So i slowed her down to walk then asked for trot then we were doing a lovely but energetic canter. We then did drill riding and she was realy good. She was realy bouncy in trit without stirrups.

Lola

Last sunday i rode a lovely horse named lola
i tought her to jump a year ago and completely forgot about her.
at the same time i forgot how comfey she was.

Half term camp.

Over the half term, Wheal buller riding school has been holding 2 camps.
I was on the second camp.
The first day was the day ride and i rode my fave pony (14.2) named mia.
Mia is a babe that no-one else rides for some reason.
I found out she is scared of hay bales.
The ride went great accept it rained and rained all day. I came back dripping wet.
When we got back, the trouble started. Everyone were putting rugs on their horses but mia diddnt have one and she was clipped. I lead her to the field and the whole way she was rearing and bucking the whole way down.She bolted and i had to let go of her. She stopped and i caught up with her. Her leg had been put thrugh the reins and david was shouting at me.
In the end i had to let her go in the lane then open the field gate.
The next day i gaught her in. She was given no breakfast and i felt sorry for her.
As i was grooming her back, she flinched then i noticed she had a lump on her back.
I went to tell caren who was the owner of the stables. She said she was too sore to be ridden.
I had to ride another horse so i chose billy. (A 15hh chessnut gelding.) We did hacking for the rest of the camp BILLY+MIA ARE THE BEST.

Dreamer

Dreamer is sisters with Leela.
so she is pure thoroughbred too.
She is my lovely showjumper who im jumping at 6 foot 2.
she was broken in at 2 years old for racing but she dismounted her jockey so mutch she was disqualified and sold. Now i have her, she will only let me ride her.
Before jumping she will get realy exited, but she is a lovely horse standing at 16.2hh.

Leela

Leela is queen of the heard, best mates with dillon
Leela is a pure thoroughbred and the mother of Shooting star.
She is hard and spooky to ride but when calm she is fun.
she loves to run arround the field as she is a race horse.

Dillon

Dillon is the king of the heard so what he says goes. he is a giant shire horse stallion who stands at 19.2 hands, He is black with 4 white stockings and a thick blaze. Dillon used to be a drum horse so he is well manerd and georgus.

Tim

Tim is the smallest pony of the lot. He stands at 14.1 hands. He is a pure new forrest gelding, he is dark bay with a white face. He is a pleasure to ride with a very bouncy canter. The funiest time with him was when he was running up with the other horses to be caught in, but instead the others stoped and he ran into a tree.

Shooting star

Shooting Star is the baby of the family. he is about 1 month old, born on the 15th april 2008.
he is dark bay with a star on his head (hents the name) he was named by my sister (michelle)
Shooting star is a burebred thoroughbred with a wild personality.

Iris

Iris is a sweet but mischevius horse who thinks more of her belly than anythingelse (greedy thing) we love her realy. she is twins with Mystic and daughter of Isis. she is expected to make 16 hands or over. same as her sister.

Mystic

Mystic is a young horse who is 2 years old so she is to young to be ridden.
she is twins with Iris and the daughter of Isis.
there is not much to say about her but she is a good horse who is expected to make 16 hands of over.

Snowy

Snowy is a shire horse who stands at 18 hands.
she is quite a lovely mare.
She is 17 years old with lots of fire in her heart, she is best mates with dillon.
but sadly i cant ride her for more than half an hour because she has a heart murmour. (poor thing.) Snowy is a lovely grey colour, a bit like angel. her favourite food is oats. she loves bieng in the field all the time, she is realy good to catch in her field.

Isis

Isis has not had a great start of life.
when i brought her, i found out she had been starved and burned close to death.
she had scares down her back and legs, and her mayne, tail and eyelashes had been scared by the flames.
At first she was frightened to go in the stable.
A year had gone by and it was finaly time to break her in. (training her)
she would only trust me to ride and handle her.
I had her for 3 years and she was going great.
Then she took the wrong turn.
at 9 tears old, we had to put her down because the poor thing could hardly breathe in the field. (At least she is out of her misary.)
